Qualification: Applicants must have or expect a Ph.D. degree in Political Science, Economics, or related fields. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in research as well as in teaching.

TSE is dedicated to high-quality post-graduate education in political economy. We currently offer Master degree program in Asian Political Economy, Global Political Economy, and Economic Development as well as Ph.D. degree program in Political Science and Economics. We emphasize interdisciplinary study and integrated economics and political science training and research. International students comprise over 80 percent of our student body. We look for economists and political scientists with strong training in theory, research methodology, quantitative skills, and with a keen interest in policy research.

(4) Degree Certificate: Please provide a copy of the doctoral degree certificate or certification for the completion of coursework and successful defense of the dissertation. For applicants who have not yet passed the oral examination, a letter certifying the completion of coursework and the imminent scheduling of the oral examination is required.
(5) Transcripts/Certificate or Proofs for Appointments: For new Ph.D.s or Ph.D. candidates, please provide the Transcripts. For applicants who are neither new Ph.D.s nor Ph.D. candidates, please provide a certificate or proof of your current position at any academic institution instead.
