We are pleased to announce the next event of the TSE Research Colloquium series. Professor David Sungho Park, Associate Professor of Economics at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, will present his research on Tuesday, October 20.

12:00–13:00 | TSE Common Area
Misperceptions and Product Choice: Evidence from a Randomized Trial in Zambia

This project examines whether small retailers overlook profitable products because they underestimate their profitability. Using a randomized trial in Zambia, it explores how temporary subsidies encourage retailers to experiment with new products, learn about local demand, and sustain profitable product choices after the subsidies end.

This will be a great opportunity to learn more about Professor Park’s research and to engage in the vibrant research environment we are building at TSE. Students and faculty are warmly invited to join us.

PhD students are also invited to an informal coffee chat with Professor Park from 14:30 to 16:00 in Room B05. To help us arrange refreshments, please indicate your participation and any dietary restrictions through the poll here.
