Calendar

TA
A TSE student will be your TA this semester. Each TA has been provided with the instructor's email address and shall contact the instructor to introduce themself very soon. Here are some key points about TA duties and the arrangement:

  • TA Duties: Your TA is expected to be punctual, responsible, and responsive to your needs in a timely manner. Responsibilities may include communicating with students and you, managing the e-learning platform and readings, preparing the lecture room, and offering TA sessions if required. The TA's duties may vary depending on your specific requirements for the course. Whether the TA is enrolled in the course or not is not a mandatory requirement, and details will be discussed and determined between you and the TA.
  • Dual Role (Student and TA): If the TA is also a student enrolled in the course, they will not grade other students or themselves, ensuring a fair evaluation process. The TA's role as a student will not impact their grades in any way.
  • TA Salary and workload: Your TA will receive a monthly salary from TSE during the semester. The workload for the TA is capped at 15 hours per week.
  • Performance Evaluation: We will ask you to evaluate the TA's performance, providing feedback either midway through or at the end of the semester. Meanwhile, if you have any concerns or would like to discuss the TA's performance at any point, please feel free to contact us.
